  • Abstract:
  • This research paper deals with design and development of condenser for sugar factory. The aim is optimize use of water vapor for producing vacuum, and reducing the requirement of water for producing vaporsand minimize the wastage of water by providing proper opening and closing timing of valves which are atomized and calculations required to get better condenser performance. The condenser is provided with multiple jet of water. 2 of the nozzles are spray nozzle and remaining 1 is jet nozzle.Under automation more water requirement is controlled proportionally to the vapor load and non-condensed gases on condensers therefore exact water quantity will automatically used. The condenser is designed by using standard formulae and based on requirement by sugar manufacturing industry.
