  • Abstract:
  • Digital three-dimensional (3D) scanning is a state-of-the-art metrology technique that can accurately reproduce surface topography. However, commercial systems are not suitable for in-process monitoring in smart manufacturing due to limitations in scanning speed, focusing region size, and spatial resolution. To overcome these issues, a study was conducted to increase pixel resolution and narrow the field of view of a structured light scanning system Structured light 3D scanning is one of the 3D scanning methods that can match the criterion for scanning speed, but not for scanning region or spatial resolution. Structured light 3D scanning is one of the 3D scanning methods that can match the criterion for scanning speed, but not for scanning region or spatial resolution
